Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) carefully before subscribing to our services.
1. Registration
1.1 The engagement is on a voluntary basis, and consensus has been sought between the coach and the swimmer or parent/guardian if the swimmer is below the age of 18.
1.2 Swimmer or the parent/guardian will need to complete the registration form upon registering as a student in MarlinSwim. http://eepurl.com/ig7KGn
1.3 You must declare to Marlin Swim any illness, condition or disability that may affect the ability of you and/or your Child to swim or participate in the Activities. Such declaration shall be made prior to registration, or if such illness, condition or disability arises after registration, immediately upon its discovery, in informing us via private message to Marlin Swim registered contact at 8053 3289 or writing to us at marlinswimsingapore@gmail.com. Marlin Swim reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to require that you and/or your Child be withdrawn from the Activities.
2. Payment
Full payment of training fees are to be made before the commencement of training.
Non-payment will result in a forfeiture of your allocated class slot(s). The slot(s) may, in our absolute discretion, be re-allocated to other existing clients or prospective clients on the waitlist.
3. Refund Policy
MarlinSwim Pte Ltd does not offer refunds for our services. There will be no refund once payment has been made.
4. Public Holidays
Sessions will not be conducted during public holidays. If students would like to have sessions during public holidays, there will be an additional cost on top of the usual rates.
5. Inclement Weather Policy
We will always endeavour to run the swim session in most weather conditions including light, intermittent or potential rain. Given the specific allotted training periods we have, we want to take advantage of every opportunity to teach.
5.1 Definition of Inclement Weather; Land training may be conducted due to Inclement Weather, according to the below conditions:
5.2 Lightning which can be seen from the pool location.
5.3 Thunder that can be heard from the pool location
5.4 Heavy Rain - resulting in poor visibility of the pool lanes / tile lines at the bottom of the pool
5.5 Lightning warning by NEA
5.6 Haze - Air quality in the unhealthy range or higher
5.7 Any situation deemed dangerous, hazardous or posing a safety risk to our students / users of pool facilities
6. Sessions Compliances
Group and Private classes:
4 sessions package: To be completed within a maximum of 5 weeks.
Private classes:
12 sessions package: To be completed within a maximum of 3 months and 3 weeks. Makeup sessions can be discussed if the coach schedule permits.

When you/child is absent:

Medical Certificate to prove unfit for the session

Hospitalisation stay

Vaccination

Or any other reasons
Sessions that are not fulfilled will be carried forward to the following week.
Cancellation of session should be informed at least 1 hour prior the commencement of the session. As our coaches travel to the session venue specifically, any cancellation made within 1 hour from the commencement of the class will be considered a chargeable class. (Inclusive of not showing up at the scheduled session)

Group Class Minimum Attendance:
For group classes, a minimum of two students must attend. If only one student attends a scheduled group class, it will be considered a private class and charged at the private class fee rate.

*For example, if Student A is unable to attend the session for two weeks due to sickness, travel, or other reasons, and Student B attends the class individually for those two weeks, Student B will be charged private class fees for those two weeks only

7. Testimonals
It is hereby agreed that MarlinSwim shall have the right to copy, extract, translate or publish any of the swimmers’/parents' testimonials/comments regarding MarlinSwim programs and its training, including the use of their photographs. No private information of the parents and swimmers will be divulged to any other third party.
If you object to a photo of your child being taken please inform us by contacting us at 8053 3289 or writing to us at marlinswimsingapore@gmail.com. Parents and helpers can take pictures of their own child only with the permission of the coach, this is to minimise any distraction of the session.
8. Termination
Students' is required to give at least 2 weeks’ notice to withdraw from swimming sessions.
9. Release of Liability
I, on behalf of myself, my child and my child’s parent and/or legal guardians hereby release MarlinSwim Pte Ltd, it’s owners, operations, partners, and/or its affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant/s and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises under the control and supervision of MarlinSwim, it’s owners, operators, partners, and/or its affiliates or in route to or from any said promises.
10. Medical Emergencies
MarlinSwim reserves the right to seek medical treatment for the students in the event we are unable to reach a parent / guardian.
11. Assumption of risk
activities conducted by MarlinSwim, including but not limited to paralysing injuries, brain injuries, and death. These activities may be of hazardous nature and/or may include activities such as swimming, diving, a variety of strenuous exercise and physical activities. With the full understanding of the facts, I state that to the best of my knowledge, my son/daughter listed has no medical, physical, or emotional health conditions, which would hinder or prevent his/her participation in MarlinSwim programmes.
12. Changes to T&Cs
Marlin Swim Pte Ltd reserves the right to update the T&Cs stated on this page from time to time. We will notify you if there are any changes and direct you to our website for an updated version at https://www.marlinswimschoolsg.com.
